Letty L. LaskowskiAttorney
Letty focuses her practice in civil litigation in state and federal courts and counsels individuals, small businesses and insurance companies in the areas of commercial and personal injury litigation and insurance law. She is also on the panel to serve as a court appointed guardian ad litem in Surrogate’s Court proceedings
Prior to joining Vahey Getz, Letty worked at a law firm where she represented individuals and municipalities in various areas of civil litigation, including municipal defense and personal injury matters.
Letty completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Rochester and graduated from Syracuse University College of Law, cum laude. She is admitted to practice law in New York State Courts and the United States District Court for the Western District of New York.
Community and professional involvement are important to Letty. She is a member of the Monroe County Bar Association (MCBA) and the Greater Rochester Association of Women Attorneys and serves on the Ethics Committee of the MCBA. In 2018 Letty received the Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce Young Professional of the Year Award and was named an Up and Coming Attorney by the Daily Record. A member of the Rush Public Library Board of Trustees since 2010, Letty served as Vice President to the Board and is the current Treasurer. She also sits on the board of the Lollypop Farm Professionals, a volunteer group that comes together to work on projects and efforts to support Lollypop Farm.
