Meg Reston is an experienced and respected trial attorney who strives for excellence in representing her clients. She is regularly in the courtroom and in addition to being a founding partner of the firm, she has worked with the former firm of Gray Feldman & Rosenbaum LLP in the areas of matrimonial, family, wills and estate, real estate and bankruptcy. She has been in private practice for over 20 years and is head of the firm’s Canandaigua office. Meg’s experience also includes working with the Legal Aid Society of Rochester in the Attorney for the Child Program, concentrating in the area of child representation.
Meg is also a leader in her community and has served on City Council for the City of Canandaigua and sits on the Board of Directors for the Greater Canandaigua Civic Center. She is active in many volunteer efforts. Meg is also an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys the beauty and activities that the Finger Lakes has to offer.
Meg attended Colgate University, obtaining an honors degree in Political Science/International Relations in 1988. After graduation, she worked in Rochester, and on Capitol Hill in Washington for three years.
Meg attended law school at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. She worked for Blake, Cassels & Graydon in Toronto during her law school summers and the year preceding her admission to the Ontario Bar. She then practiced with a small firm in Toronto in the areas of family, matrimonial, and criminal defense before returning to the Rochester area in 2002. Meg was admitted to practice in New York State in 2004 and has been a resident of Western New York ever since.
She is a member of the Monroe and Ontario County Bar Associations. She practices in the areas of family, matrimonial, and wills/estate proceedings in both Monroe and Ontario counties.
